Energy Management
EPi obtained ISO 50001:2018 Energy Management System certification in 2025, which was externally verified by LRQA. The latest certificate is valid from July 7, 2025 to July 6, 2028.
EPi energy management program focuses on identifying and replacing inefficient electrical equipment and selecting high-energy and energy-saving equipment to optimize energy use. Various energy reduction measures will be implemented, with the following achievements expected in 2024:
  1. The electricity saving rate in 2024 was 2%, achieving the 2023-2024 target (1%).
  2. 17 energy plans were implemented in 2024, focusing on energy conservation.
  3. In terms of energy-saving measures, NT$34,646,872 was invested in 2024 to implement four energy-saving measures: replacing inefficient old units, upgrading equipment parts, adjusting energy-saving measures, and replacing lighting. By 2024, the total energy-saving benefits reached 1.857 million kWh of electricity and 880.4 tons of CO2e of carbon emissions.
  4. In addition to improving energy efficiency through energy-saving solutions, EPi has also implemented energy-saving education and training (761 participants) in 2024 to strengthen the concept of energy conservation and carbon reduction, ensuring that energy efficiency improvements can be fully implemented.
